Amanitaceae Bulletin, which will shortly
appear with its first number. The newsletter will cover issues relating to
both the Roosevelt herbarium and the WAO website. The focus of the first issue

The site was converted to use and provide the systematic hypothesis
of Cui et al. (2018) during a two day revision. A skeletal page has been

Amanita griseocaerulea is new from the Province of Rome in Italy.

As already demonstrated by the GenBank data deposited by Cui et al (2018)
for
east Asian flavoconioids, nrITS does NOT serve to cleanly segregate taxa
in that
group (check A. flavipes, A. detersa (means "deciduous"), and A.
flavosquamosa.
North American taxa seem similarly hard to segregate. In both cases, it
seems that rpb2 is successful at differentiating all known and proposed
taxa.
