As already demonstrated by the GenBank data deposited by Cui et al (2018)
for
east Asian flavoconioids, nrITS does NOT serve to cleanly segregate taxa
in that
group (check A. flavipes, A. detersa (means "deciduous"), and A.
flavosquamosa.
North American taxa seem similarly hard to segregate. In both cases, it
seems that rpb2 is successful at differentiating all known and proposed
taxa.
